Arrive Spain – transfer to school for orientation, meet with Spanish families and go to your home for dinner and overnight.
June 8 -12
Breakfast at home. Morning classes. Lunch at school. Afternoon cultural activities – anything from beach volleyball to a city walking tour. You will receive a detailed schedule of events every Monday. Dinner and overnight with your family.
June 13
Breakfast. Depart from the school for a full day excursion to Granada. Lunch. Late afternoon return to school. Dinner and overnight with your Spanish family.
June 14
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner at home with your Spanish family. Day of rest.
June 15 – 19
Breakfast at home. Morning classes. Lunch at school. Afternoon cultural activities – anything from a Flamenco class to a cooking class to a walking tour. You will receive a detailed schedule of events every Monday. Dinner and overnight with your family.
June 20
Breakfast. Depart from the school for a full day excursion to Sevilla. Lunch. Late afternoon return to school. Dinner and overnight with family.
June 21
Breakfast. Return to school for a transfer to the airport and your return flight to Miami.
(This is a tentative itinerary but it describes the essence of the program. The land program will be provided approximately ten days prior to departure. All programs are subject to change.)

It is a cultural immersion experience where students live with a host family in Spain while attending classes and participating in scheduled activities.
Students are expected to attend all program activities, follow the rules of the host family, obey instructions from teachers and program staff, and represent their country respectfully.
Yes. Attendance is mandatory for all scheduled classes, activities, and assignments.
You must attend all classes, be punctual, participate actively, complete all assignments on time, and respect your teachers and chaperones.
Yes! Use Spanish as much as possible and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Effort and immersion are key.
You are the main point of contact for students, host families, and program staff. Your role includes ensuring student safety, managing behavior, and keeping students engaged.
Meals are later than in the U.S., formality with adults is expected, and students should be encouraged to try local foods and customs.
Conduct a cultural orientation, establish expectations, and review program rules, curfews, and local laws.
Encourage active participation in family life, use of Spanish, and respect for household customs.
